Sarah Dunnigan
Sarah Dunnigan is a Senior Lecturer in English Literature at Edinburgh University where she teaches medieval, Renaissance, and Scottish literature. She has written on the poetry of Mary, Queen of Scots and James VI, and the literature of their courts; Robert Henryson; traditional Scottish ballads; early modern Scottish women writers; Robert Burns; and contemporary Scottish women's fiction. Her current research explores fairies in medieval and Romantic Scottish literature, and pre-twentieth century Scottish writing for children.
