Philip Shaw

,Philip (McKim) Shaw is a professor of English Linguistics at Stockholm University. He is interested in nineteenth-century literature in an amateur way, and more professionally in the history of attitudes to language as shown in the literary record. He has degree sfrom Oxford, Reading and Newcastle universities and has worked at the universities of Chiang Mai, Silpakorn, Bonn, Newcastle, Århus, and Stockholm.
