Neil Curry
Neil Curry, a graduate of the University of Bristol, is a freelance writer, poet and critic who lives in the Lake District. His monograph on Christopher Smart was published in 2005 by Northcote House and his edition of Smart's Selected Poems will be published in 2008. His verse translations of Euripides, published by Cambridge University Press, have been widely performed in this country and in America. Four collections of his own poetry - one a Poetry Book Society Recommendation - have been published by Enitharmon Press, who also published his Selected Poems entitled Other Rooms in October 2007. In the same month Bookcase published his topographical book on the Cumberland Coast.
Greenwich Exchange have published his studies of Alexander Pope and of George Herbert. They have also published "Six Eighteenth Century Poets". and William Cowper a Revaluation. Most recent is his "William Shenstone, Landscape gardener & Poet"
