Little Patricia St Patrick's University College Dublin

Ph.D. University of Durham on the writings of Simone Weil. Has taught French in the Universities of Sussex, Southampton, Fourah Bay College Sierra Leone and St Patrick's University College Dublin, and General Arts in the Open University. Research in the Theatre of the Absurd (Beckett, Ionesco, Genet) and the literature of Francophone West Africa (Amadou Hampâté Bâ, Cheikh Hamidou Kane) in France and Senegal, with a parallel research interest in education in the A.O.F. (Georges Hardy). Currently exploring postcolonial issues between Ireland and India (Margaret Noble/Sister Nivedita).
