Aurélie L'Hostis

Aurélie L'Hostis studied for her PhD in French at King's College, Cambridge. She specialises in postcolonial fiction and historiography, particularly of the French Caribbean. Her publications include articles on the debate around historical memory and slavery in France and the representation of Antillean traumatic history in works by Aimé Césaire, Édouard Glissant and Patrick Chamoiseau.
