Patrizia Palumbo

Patrizia Palumbo is a lecturer in the Department of Italian at Columbia University. She has written articles on Italian medieval and modern culture. which appeared in American academic journals. She has also edited a collection on Italian colonialism, A Place in the Sun: Africa in Italian Colonial Culture from Post-Unification to the Present.
Currently, she is working on an essay on slavery during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
