Natalie Aldred completed her PhD in English Literature at The University of Birmingham, England, in July 2011. Previously she had studied for a BA (Hons) and MRes in English Literature at Bath Spa University. She is an independent researcher, and has taught at the universities of Bath and Birmimgham; as of April 2010 she has been employed as an Educational Support Worker for UK HE learners. Her publications have appeared in Notes and Queries, The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography, and BJLL. Currently she is co-investigating and cataloguing, with Joshua McEvilla, advertisements for books in English periodicals from 1643 to 1668, as well as revising her PhD, a critical edition of William Haughton's Englishmen for My Money, for Digital Renaissance Editions. She is also writing two articles related to book history: one on the will and probate record of William White, printer, and another on the side activities of seventeenth-century booksellers in London.
