Tina Mouneimné Van Roeyen
I'm a happy French-speaking published author (full record track available on https://uw.academia.edu/TinaMouneimne; do also check out my personal website Escritoressa.com for reviews), a PhD in Quebecois literature as well as a full-time daydreamer. Interested in anything from writing to discovering the world, from creating to understanding, I’m currently based in Brussels and looking at the world through the lens of a coffee-loving fresh parent.
Alumna of a Faculty of Modern Languages (MA in French Studies), I could write and do research on writers and their works endlessly. My two latest books are analyses and summaries of modern French novels by acclaimed contemporary writers (Boris Vian and Delphine de Vigan). I’ve also recently worked as an educational writer and reviewer for Better Students, an e-learning website, writing summaries and analysis of world classical novels – an experience which reminded me of how much I love working on texts, as in “any literary text, work and style”.
I enjoy doing research on literature because that’s how you get to learn new things; hence, you get to grow. While literature is a window on the world, writing is the key to discovering your inner self. Least but not last, I have completed a module for trainers of creative writing workshops and will soon start a new training for professional proof-readers in French to further excel in my passion.
