Gunnþórunn Guðmundsdóttir
Gunnþórunn Guðmundsdóttir is Professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Iceland. Her research interests include life writing, memory studies, and contemporary literature. She has published widely on these issues including her two monographs, Borderlines: Autobiography and Fiction in Postmodern and Life Writing (2003) and Representations of Forgetting in Life Writing and Fiction (2017). Her most recent work is the edited volume Iceland-Ireland: Memory, Literature, Culture on the Atlantic Periphery (2022).
