Ritwika Roy

Ritwika Roy (she/her) is a PhD Candidate and former Senior Research Fellow at the Department of English, Jadavpur University, India; and co-founder of the Association for Children’s Literature in South Asia. She is a recipient of the IRSCL Research Grant 2023 from the International Research Society for Children’s Literature and the Hannah Beiter Graduate Student Research Grant 2023 from the Children’s Literature Association. She has presented at conferences in the University of Cambridge, University of Malta, University of British Columbia, among others, and has published on Indian English children’s and YA fiction. She works primarily on contemporary Indian English children's and YA literature and her thesis is on Mental Health in Contemporary Indian English Children's Literature.
