Beth Kearney

Beth Kearney is an early career researcher and Casual Academic based in Meanjin, Australia. She is currently working on a monograph on the use of photography in experimental life writing by women writers of the Francosphere. She is also researching contemporary literature that challenges national or cultural scripts of gender identity. She has published on these topics and others in academic journals, including L’Esprit créateur, Francosphères, AJFS, Modern & Contemporary France. She is also a literary critic, with publications in The Australian Book Review, MAI: Feminism and Visual Culture, Asymptote, and The Conversation.
