Aldo Palazzeschi, pen name of Aldo Giurlani, was one of the most prominent Italian novelists and poets of the twentieth century. His name is often associated with that of Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, founder of the avant-garde Futurist movement. Palazzeschi joined the Futurists as early as 1910, remaining in their ranks until April of 1914.
