Maggie O’Sullivan is a poet living and working in England, and one of the most innovative voices to have emerged in contemporary poetry in recent years. She has been performing and publishing her work in Britain, North America and Europe since the late 1970s. Characterised by a distinctive melding of textual, visual and sound elements aimed at expanding the range of what poetry can be, O’Sullivan’s work places great emphasis on the material dimensions of language such as sound, visual presence, syntactical structures and the corporeal and social bases of enunciation.
