The person known under the name of ‘Anonymus Crameri’ is a compiler of a medieval-era Greek orthographical treatise. Fragments of this orthographical treatise had been discovered under the title

Peri Posótētos

(='On Quantity of syllables') in cod. Barocc. 50 of the Bodleian Library and were published by J. Cramer (1835: 283-315) in a quite imperfect edition full of misreadings, which is only partially emended by R. Schneider (1887: 29-32).

The name and date of the Anonymus Crameri is unknown, but he is definitely older than Georgius Choeroboscus who used his treatise as one of his sources (on the Anonymus Crameri as a source for Choeroboscus, see Alpers 1969: 13-14; Alpers 2004: 33-34).
