Zone libre(1990). While all three plays which deal with Jewish experience before, during and after the Second World War won Grumberg considerable acclaim,
L’Atelier,composed of ten scenes set in a garment workroom in the Paris “Sentier” district during the immediate post-war years, garnered the most accolades, including the 1980 Critics Award, the SACD Award, the Parisian Award and the Ibsen prize.
