represents Jhumpa Lahiri’s most recent non-fiction book, marking her third venture into this genre. Articulated in a series of ten essays, written in a compound of Italian and English, translated by others or self-translated, the collection extends to the field of translation and self-translation some of the reflections on the questions of language, identity, and cultural assignation initiated by Lahiri in her 2015 memoir,
